This week we have been looking at our Passover Lamb by taking a look at the first Passover Lamb in Exodus 12.
One more thing that I want to show you today is actually not about the Passover lamb, but about the people who were partaking of the lamb on that evening.
Exodus 12:11 – “And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’S passover.”
God told them to eat dinner ready to travel…ready to see the promise come to pass.
They had just seen 9 plagues happen and 9 plagues fail to liberate them… but God said this one is going to be different, you will partake of this lamb like you are expecting to be free! Expecting the miracle! Expecting the manifestation.
Oh, boy! Oh, boy! What a picture!
BELOVED: Our Passover Lamb has done the work and finished the work once and forever.
Our Lamb declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30).
Two thousand years ago our Lamb made provision for us to be free and live the abundant life.
YET: Too many Christians live like the enemy is the one who is allowed to call the shots. Instead of living with expectation of what Jesus has already provided…we live with more anticipation or fear of the enemy overcoming us and defeating us.
2 Peter 1:3 – “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”
Ephesians 1:3 – “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
Our Lamb has already WON OUR VICTORY… live like you have already won! Live like God’s promises are true. Live like you totally believe it!
YOU MAY BE SITTING AROUND and wondering about this stupid virus that has overtaken our minds. You may be thinking, I can’t wait until this thing is over and defeated.
BELOVED: It was defeated 2,000 years ago…it is okay to be inside, it is okay to follow some guidelines…but get ready, because things are getting ready to BOUNCE!
